What we do

Yirgacheffe (Washed and Unwashed)

Yirgacheffe coffee can be characterized as a bright, medium-bodied coffee with distinct floral tones in aroma, an intense and complex flavor, flowery, medium to pointed grandly exhilarating acidity, flavor-saturated finish with good and extended aftertaste.

Sidama (Washed and Unwashed)

Around 60% of coffee produced in Sidama region is washed processed. Sidama coffees are known for their rich, full body, vibrant crisp acidity, and floral and citrus notes.

Harrar (Unwashed)

This is a wild Arabica that is grown on small farms in the Oromia region. It is typically natural processed. It is known for its intense flavor and fruity acidity. It is described as rich and pungent with strong hints of blueberry or blackberry. It is typically heavy bodied and has been likened to dry, red wine.

Limu (washed)

Limu coffee grows in the southwest of Ethiopia. A washed coffee with relatively low acidity, it has a well-balanced body and a distinct spicy flavor that is pleasantly sweet and often has floral notes.

Jimma/Djimmah (Washed and Unwashed)

This region in the southwest of Ethiopia is a large producer of commercial-grade coffee. It has some stone fruit flavors of yellow plum and apricot, some tropical flavors of mango, and some sweet citrus flavors of orange zest. A bright citric acidity and a lovely silky body hold the coffee together.

Wollega/Lekemti (Washed and Unwashed)

This organic single origin coffee is mind blowing clean. It is a sun-dried natural bean produced in western Ethiopia. The coffee is known for its large bean size magical body, and the flavor can have a pronounced perfume-like aftertaste.

Sesame

Humera/Gonder Sesame Seed (Grade 1, 2, 3, 4)

Originated from the northern part of Ethiopia, Kafta Humera, Wolkait, Asgede Tsimbila, Tahtay Adiyabo, Tsegedie, West Armachiho (Abderafi, Abreha Jira, Korhumer), and surroundings. Its type is known for its top quality and has a bid demand in the world market. The Humera type is also appreciated worldwide for its aroma and taste.

Wollega type sesame seeds are the whitish and mixed/brownish colored variety which comes from Wollega region. The Wollega type sesame seeds have a competitive advantage for edible oil production because of its high oil content. It’s mostly originated from the Adabuldeglu, Sirba Abay, Mao Komo, Bambasi, Assossa, Sherkole, Homsha, Mengie, Kumruk, Kamashi, Agelo Meti, Yaso, and surroundings regions of Ethiopia
